About Us

Carmen florist is a flourishing business and has been in the flower industry for over 30 years. It has been owned by Elainne Pretorius for the past 11 years. She bought Carmen florist in June 2004 and has been running it successfully ever since.

Carmen florist is based in Mountaintainview, Pretoria. That means north-west of Pretoria. They deliver in most areas of Pretoria and make use of partner florists to assist them in other regions.

Carmen florist has a large customer base all over South Africa and some international customers. They pride themselves on giving the best service and freshest flower products to their customers. Carmen florist walks the extra mile with their customers, to give them the service and product that they deserve.

Flowers are purchased directly from the Johannesburg market to ensure you get the best quality and price. They transport them to Pretoria and, on arrival, the flowers are cut, cleaned and then dipped in special product for long lasting effect. Their buckets are cleaned every day and they add flower food to the water to ensure a better product leaving their store.

Carmen florist supplies fresh flower arrangements, dried flower arrangements, biltong hampers, baskets with fresh fruit and all sorts of hampers. They even make nappy cakes on occasion. A wide range of pottery vases and glass vases are stocked. There's some exquisite pewter containers, some mosaic vases, a range of baskets and metal containers and even some wire products that are available. In store, they also have funky balloons, teddy bears, butterflies, organza ribbons and lots more to complement their finished products.

Highly qualified florists create Carmen florist's flower arrangements to perfection. One of their florists has won two competitions in two consecutive years, 2014 and January 2015. Their staff are friendly, creative and competent to do their flower arranging jobs with a smile. They strive to deliver all flower orders placed before 12h00 the same day.

They also love assisting brides with their flower needs for their very special wedding day. Creating special hand bouquets and eye-catching centrepieces for the tables. They also do function and theme functions by incorporating flowers all year around. Carmen florist supports families in their sad loss of a loved one by helping them choose the most beautiful flowers for the funeral service. They also have contracts were they supply flower arrangements on a weekly basis to companies.
